FROST
BOILER / HEAT PUMP PROTECTION INSTRUCTIONS
We inform you about the correct actions you need to take in order to minimize the chances of damage to the boiler or heat pump from frost, when they are outdoors:
Do not turn off the power supply to the boiler or heat pump.
Raise the temperature of the room thermostat during the night so that it works continuously.
Leave at least one tap of domestic hot water open with a small supply of hot water (for gas boilers).
Check and adjust the filling of the heating system before frost.
If the water supply for the operation of the boiler or heat pump is done from an outdoor tap (e.g. a balcony tap), then leave it open in a small flow so that it does not freeze. That ensures a constant water supply to the installation.
