ANTI-ICING FLOOR HEATING
In areas where low temperatures prevail in winter, problems and damage caused by ice and snow are very frequent.
In these cases, the installation of electric heating cables is the ideal solution as they keep the surface dry, preventing problems and the occurrence of accidents and damage.
Thermal cables can be installed outdoors, in the ground, inside concrete, or exposed to weather conditions. They are frequently used on garage ramps, outdoor stairs, roofs and gutters, in private and public roads, pedestrian zones and walkways, entrances of commercial, public, or private buildings and residences, for the protection of pipes and gutters, at airports and helipads, and wherever else anti-icing protection is needed.
Their installation does not require anything special in the construction of the installation area, and they can be installed over the entire surface area or selectively, e.g. at the point of contact of vehicle tires or pedestrian traffic, along gutters or around the perimeter of pipes.
There is no restriction regarding the type of final flooring material to be used, as long as they are installed as close to the final flooring as possible to achieve the highest possible efficiency.
Thermal cables are controlled by an outdoor temperature and humidity sensor, combined with a special electronic frost protection thermostat. In cases where multiple cable circuits are required, they are controlled in zones with multiple sensors so that they operate only when truly necessary, providing the optimum result at the lowest possible cost.
They have high mechanical strength. They are not affected by weather conditions (heatwaves, rain, very low temperatures, sun, dust, exhaust fumes, etc.) and their high performance remains unchanged. The lifespan of thermal cables is unlimited, requiring absolutely no maintenance.
Finally, they provide remote control capabilities, making them ideal for installation in holiday homes in mountainous areas, so we can turn them on before our arrival when we wish to visit them in the winter. Or even for public installations through municipal lighting or wirelessly in public areas.
