ANTI-GLACIAL UNDERFLOOR HEATING
In areas with low winter temperatures, it is very common for ice and snow to cause problems and damage.
In these cases, the installation of electrical thermal cables is the ideal solution as they keep the surface dry preventing problems and causing accidents and disasters.
Thermal cables can be installed outdoors, in the soil, inside the concrete or be exposed to weather conditions. They find frequent use in garage ramps, external stairs, roofs and gutters, in private and public streets, sidewalks, entrances to professional, public or private buildings and residences, in the protection of pipes and gutters, in airports and heliports, and wherever else there is a need for anti-frost protection.
Their installation does not require anything special in the construction of the installation area, while they can be placed over the entire area or selectively e.g. at the point of grip of vehicle tyres or pedestrian passage, along gutters or around pipes.
There is no restriction on what kind of finishing coating material will be used, as long as they are placed as close as possible to the finished coating so that they have the greatest possible performance.
Thermal cables are controlled by a sensor of outside temperature and humidity, combined with a special electronic frost protection thermostat. In cases where several cable circuits are needed, they are checked in zones with multiple sensors so that they operate only when it is really necessary, providing the optimal result at the lowest possible cost.
They have high mechanical strength. They are not affected by weather conditions (heatwave, rain, very low temperatures, sun, dust, exhaust gases, etc.) and their high performance remains unchanged. The service life of thermal cables is unlimited, requiring no maintenance whatsoever.
Finally, they provide the possibility of operation with remote control, making them ideal for installation in holiday homes in mountainous areas, so that can be activated before arrival, when visiting them in winter. Or even, for public facilities through municipal lighting or wirelessly in public places.
